Lazy days at seven lakes

Just sitting around polishing my golf clubs waiting for the weather to change. Was able to get in a little practice today but then it got cloudy and drove me off the range. Chris came down with the stomach flu this past week so rather than risking a relapse she attended mass via the TV which featured the cathedral at Notre Dame U.we are finishing a room above the garage for additional guests anyone interested in visiting during the womens US open in Pinehurst this year should get there reservations in early. One of my extra curricular activities is as volunteer usher at universityof North Carolina basketball games expect to see them in the final four . For those of you who have never experienced the Tar heel state I encourage you to do so. much to do but at resonable prices. Y'all have a good week

I know that many of you have seen our house but we are proud of our dream house so if you would suffer through this we would appreciate. The house took about 9 months to construct and had a wonderful view of our 1200 acre spring fed lake, a rarity on NC. This is a gated community so its available only to owners and their guests. This year our house was featured as house of the year in Pinehurst. We hope to enjoy until the bank repossess it.

our travels to ashville and the grove park inn

Since this is a new blog We will be playing catch-up on our postings in the fall we went with friends to Ashville and spent a wonderful week-end enjoying the colors of fall. Without trying to sound like the Asheville chamber of commerce. This is a great place for rest and relaxation.

New Kayak

This Christmas, Uncle Al surprised me with a sleek lemon yellow custom environmentally friendly kayak!!! He hid it in the guest bedroom, a twelve foot kayak. With in minutes, my grandson, Brooks, and I were afloat and paddling our little hearts out.
